The Poppy Vase continues Giberto’s exploration of the Rose glass, translating the iconic Venetian Vaso shape into a larger, slightly flared form. Hand-blown in intense pink, its rich hue is achieved with an antique technique that mixes ruby and gold dust into the molten glass, then solidifies through multiple furnace phases. A hot-sealed red rim contrasts with the rose base, enhancing the vase’s depth and reflections. Simple yet elegant, the Poppy Vase is crafted exclusively in Murano and best displayed with vibrant poppy flowers to showcase its shifting colors and understated presence.
