Futurista I

Inspired by the geometric deconstructions of Futurist painting, particularly the work of Giacomo Balla, this series of mirror-tableaux marks the culmination of a long-held creative vision by Giberto Arrivabene Valenti Gonzaga. Made in Murano, in collaboration with master mirror craftsmen Barbini, each piece begins as a hand-drawn composition, later refined digitally and translated into precisely cut glass elements mounted on a wooden backing with a brass frame. The smaller versions feature an overhanging wooden frame reminiscent of a coffered ceiling, a subtle nod to Futurist aesthetics. A collectible work where art history and Murano craftsmanship meet.
