LIVING DESIGN - Un’Oasi Veneziana alla Chahan Gallery

The news

It is the fruit of a synergy between two undisputed talents: when Giberto Arrivabene Valenti Gonzaga and Chahan Minassian first met many years ago, a natural connection was born instantly, rooted in a shared passion for beauty, craftsmanship, and the timeless allure of Venice. From this friendship grew a collaboration that celebrates the dialogue between tradition and contemporary design, giving rise to the creation of the "Chahan Blue" glass. Its debut took place at Maison & Objet 2026 — the prestigious Parisian showcase dedicated to design and home decoration — within Chahan's captivating universe, alongside other precious Murano glass works signed by a descendant of one of Venice's oldest families. An immersive setting that paid tribute to the spirit of the lagoon through Chahan's distinctive curatorial vision, artfully weaving together the design pieces of both creators. The timeless magic of Murano glass. To be touched gently like a precious object, or embraced in everyday life: this is the Gibi-Chahan collection, unveiled in preview in Paris. Gibi Arrivabene Valenti Gonzaga and Chahan Minassian. One deeply rooted in the lagoon, the other oriental at heart.

Chahan Blue

For this particularly refined project — sophisticated in its linear purity — Chahan explored the archives of Giberto Venezia, reinterpreting one of his iconic glass forms through his own creative vision. The result is an exclusive hand-blown glass crafted in Murano by master artisans, rendered in a singular shade of blue — deep, luminous, and ever-shifting, much like the Venetian lagoon that inspires them both. It reflects Chahan's polished aesthetic and Giberto's timeless craftsmanship.

Their collaboration reveals a meeting of sensibilities: on one side, the purity and transparency that define the creations of Giberto Venezia; on the other, the tactile richness and nuanced palette that characterize Chahan's world. Bound by a deep friendship and by the ethereal light of Venice, they have created an object that transcends everyday function to become a symbol of style, memory, and cultural harmony.
