The restaurant, known for its simple yet exceptional cuisine, is one of several projects he has developed around Palazzo Giustinian — yes, the very same palazzo whereDiane von Furstenberg lives. His creative universe also includes the Laguna~B boutique, the Murano glass brand founded by his mother, artist Marie Brandolini d'Adda di Valmareno, which he now leads, his own studio, and the cultural magazine Everything. The Laguna~B store also features a carefully curated selection of books from Bruno bookstore and handcrafted wooden toys by Signor Blum—souvenirs far more distinctive than the usual gondolier hats and Carnival masks.

"We're allergic to nostalgia," says Brandolini d'Adda.

It's a phrase that perfectly captures a new generation of Venetians reimagining the city's heritage and craftsmanship for the present day.
