The pink Fizzy glass is the outcome of an extremely laborious day spent in Murano in company of Maestro Gianni Seguso. The combination of the technique used by the maestro to obtain the stripy glass called rigà menà (meaning the glass is streaked, turned and pulled all in one time) and the summery colors produce a very fresh glass to be used on our tables to add light and a smile to the summer luncheons and dinners.

For fresh water, a spritz, a rosè or a smoothy. This glass is just perfect for every use. It will remind you about your summer days in Italy, a beautiful souvenir.

The Designer

The life of Giberto Arrivabene Valenti Gonzaga is viscerally linked to Venice. His childhood memories, the most beautiful, are those that have taken place in the rooms of Palazzo Papadopoli, between frescoes of Tiepolo and family affection. “In my earliest memories Venice had other colours. It was more obscure, dramatic, decayed and deeply romantic – simply beautiful. There wasn’t the same light like there is today – more dazzling perhaps, but less poetic.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”3228″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”middle” css=”.vc_custom_1529675235001{margin-top: 10px !important;margin-bottom: 10px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”middle”][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_single_image image=”17332″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css=”.vc_custom_1624895100857{background-image: url(https://www.giberto.it/wp-content/uploads/red-laguna-murano-venice-designer-italian.jpg?id=5441) !important;}”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]

Craftmanship

Each piece derives from a watercolour sketch made by Giberto on tracing paper: “When I see something that inspires me, or an object that I like, I sketch and rework it – then move on to the realization of it.”

The glass, the main material in the collections, is worked exclusively in Murano. Each glass, each specific object, is blown by master glassmakers in the Venetian furnaces.

Giberto takes his watercolours to discuss with them and refine the project, check its feasibility, and to make eventual changes.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”middle” css=”.vc_custom_1529675235001{margin-top: 10px !important;margin-bottom: 10px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”middle”][vc_column][vc_column_text]
